I wanted to make the community aware of existing opportunities to participate in clinical trials related to memory loss.

Over the last 12 years, Comprehensive NeuroScience has provided people with the opportunity to potentially participate in clinical research studies related to loss of memory. As Principal Investigator,I am currently working on a broad range of memory loss trials including mild cognitive impaiment, mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease, severe Alzheimer's Disease, and stroke-related memory loss. I am Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. I have served as Principal Investigator at the site for over 7 years.

If you are interested in obtaining specific information about any of these studies, or would like to come to our site for a brief complimentary memory screen, please contact us at 727-576-8474.

Thank you.

I am looking for clinical trials that will diagnose whether my memory loss is pre-dementia or Alzheimer's even if I have depression or stress-related symptoms. My father had severe dementia as did my grandmother on my mother's side. I am also sedentary and I know that increases my risk. Most trials seem to be for those without depression or already diagnosed with the disease.

I recommend the Alzheimer's Education and Referral website at:

http://www.alzheimers.org/clintrials/search.asp

It allows you to search for clinical trials in your geographic location.

If you are in the central Florida area, the Johnny Byrd Institute does a lot of research into Alzheimers. Their website is:

http://www.byrdinstitute.com

I hope this information helps. Let me know what you find out.
