My Mother recently entered an Assisted Living Facility in Florida and has her Condo for sale. I have a few questions concerning the "Life Estate", which is in my name that was drafted in 1995.

1. Mom will need to go on Medicaid assistance in about 5 months when her savings runs out and my question is can Medicaid go after interest in her Condo with her having the Life Estate in my name?

2. Mom's Condo has been up for Sale since last August and I'm wondering should the Condo sell and the money placed into my Mother's account will Medicaid come after it? If so is it your reccomendation the Condo be taken off the Market?

3. If I were to rent Mom's Condo and take it off the market can Medicaid come after the Condo?

I am trying to preserve my Mother's Estate and would appreciate any advice you can give me at this time.
