My mother has Alzheimer's and awhile back told me that I had power of attorney, but the attorney she filed with has passed away.
How do I find out if I have POA? And what do I need to do once my mother no longer has the capacity to do her personal financial business?

It is up to you if you really want that POA then you must find out where is that from her room or other relatives!! They may know about this!!
