My mother in law signed her house over to my wife several years ago. Later, a revocable trust was established with my M-I-L and my wife as the principal holders of the trust. All assets of my M-I-L were put in the trust. A power of attorney was givin to my wife.

We have just recently had to start executing the power of attorney on a few minor things. The trust has sufficient assets for several yeas in an Assisted Living center or a nursing home. At the present time we are using a domestic care giver for my M-I-L at her house.
